The Chalet de la Floria is a very nice snack bar perched above Les Praz and the Chamonix Golf course. It has nice views over the entire Chamonix valley and the Aiguille Verte and the Mont Blanc massif across the valley. It has a nice little sitting area and the chalet is always nicely decorated with flowers from spring to autumn. The chalet is typically open from May to the end of October. Early May they are only open in the weekends. There are many ways to reach La Floria and the quickest route from Chamonix and back takes roughly 75 minutes both ways. It can also be included in a route going up to or down from the Flegere lift station.
