The Aiguillette des Posettes is a crest summit at an altitude of 2201meters above the village of Le Tour. Its position at the north-eastern end of the Chamonix Valley gives it amazing views into the valley. On the western side of the Aiguillette des Posettes there are excellent views towards Loriaz and Mont Buet.
There is one main trail that passes by the Aiguillette des Posettes that follows the crest from Tre le Champ all the way to the Col des Posettes and from there onward to the Tete de Balme. Large parts of this trail are also part of the Marathon du Mont Blanc.
